Collection and use of visitor data

For each visitor to our website, our web server automatically recognizes the visitor’s domain name, but not the e-mail address.

Names, email addresses and other data may be collected on this site from visitors who choose to provide them for purposes such as subscribing to opt-in mailings, registering for membership in a discussion forum, and participating in user surveys. In each case where data from visitors are collected, the purposes to which the data will be put are stated explicitly. Data will not be used for any purpose other than stated, nor ever given to any third party, save under compulsion of law.

Names, email addresses and other contact information are also accepted on our secure on-line software order form (hosted by RegNow.com). The information given is used for the purpose of fulfilling the order, and may also be used to notify the customer about updates and similar information of interest. Such notifications occur infrequently — not more than monthly. No information obtained from our order forms is ever divulged to a third party. An opt-out link is included in all email to subscribers. Alternatively, customers who do not wish to receive updates can have their names removed from our contact list by sending an email with the subject line ‘Remove’ to customers@aheadwithmusic.com.
